Filter Accessories & Service Indicators

Reliable monitoring and intelligent accessories for optimal filtration performance and extended service life. Our range of Sentinel service indicators, mounting brackets, rain caps, and air duct components ensures safe installation, efficient airflow, and timely maintenance across all one- and two-stage filter systems.
Smart Components for Reliable Filtration Systems

Sentinel – Electric Maintenance Switch (Sensor)

The Sentinel electric maintenance switch continuously monitors the filter’s restriction level.
When the predefined pressure differential is reached, it sends an electrical signal that activates an optical or acoustic warning.
This ensures that maintenance takes place exactly when required — preventing both premature filter changes and potential engine risks caused by excessive restriction.

Key Advantages
  • Lightweight yet robust design for demanding environments
  • Electrical contact with stabilizer to reduce resonance
  • Simple installation; compatible with all filter models
  • Automatic reset after filter servicing
  • Normally open contact
Properties
  • Available trigger points: 25, 50, 62, and 75 mbar (custom 10–120 mbar on request)
  • Operating voltage: 12–24 V DC
  • Protection: IP44 or IP67 (AMP plug)
  • Operating temperature: −30 °C to +120 °C

Sentinel – Mechanical Maintenance Switch (Sensor)

The Sentinel mechanical maintenance switch provides a clear, optical indication of filter status.
When the set pressure differential is reached, the display changes from green to red, alerting the operator that filter servicing is required.
After servicing, the switch is reset manually.
Both the mechanical and electric versions can be installed together — one for direct filter indication, the other for cabin signal transmission — suitable for all one- and two-stage systems.

Key Advantages
  • Lightweight but robust construction for harsh environments
  • Simple installation; compatible for all filter models
  • Ideal for compact systems or as a secondary visual indicator
Properties
  • Trigger points available: 25, 50, 62, 75 mbar
  • Manual reset after servicing
  • Operating temperature: −30 °C to +120 °C

Rain caps

The rain cap prevents moisture, snow, and debris from entering the air filter — protecting it against water ingress and large contaminants such as leaves or branches.
This simple yet essential accessory extends filter life and ensures reliable performance in outdoor environments.

Key Advantages
  • Protects against water, dust, and coarse debris
  • Extends filter service intervals
  • Functions as a rain and particle guard
  • Available in multiple diameters and materials (metal or plastic)
  • Fits directly onto filter inlets

Mounting Brackets for Two-Stage Filters

Proper installation ensures long filter life, vibration stability, and safe operation — our mounting systems are engineered to match each air cleaner precisely.
We provide a complete range of mounting solutions for both VikoSeal and VikoPac two-stage air filters.

Configuration Overview
  • VikoPac: requires two metal brackets
  • VikoSeal: requires one bracket

Bracket Types

  • Metal: high temperature resistance, ideal for heavy-duty use
  • Plastic: robust, lightweight, cost-efficient
  • Quick-release: tool-free operation for easy servicing
  • Welded holders: custom, project-specific solutions

Air Duct Components and Custom Solutions

Longday offers a complete range of adapters, elbows, hoses, and pipes for both the intake side and clean-air side of the filter system.
Our standard and custom air duct components ensure a perfect fit, minimal pressure loss, and optimal use of installation space between air cleaner and engine manifold.

Beyond standard parts, we design and manufacture custom air duct assemblies and molded components tailored to specific performance and space requirements.
Each design focuses on compact layout, vibration resistance, and maximum airflow efficiency — ensuring seamless integration into your system, whether for compact cabins, containerized equipment, or heavy-duty machinery.

Key Advantages
  • Quick and secure installation
  • Space-saving routing with minimal restriction
  • Reduced number of joints and leak points
  • Customer-specific geometries and diameters
  • Molded plastic or metal parts for filter housings and ducts
  • CAD support and 3D modeling for custom integration
