Two-Stage Air Cleaners – How They Work

Two-stage air cleaners maintain stable airflow and consistent filtration through a two-step process:  
  • Stage 1 – Pre-Cleaner: Removes up to 85% of coarse dust, debris, and moisture before air reaches the main element. This reduces filter loading and increases service intervals.
  • Stage 2 – Main Filter (with optional safety element): Captures fine particles for high-efficiency final filtration. A secondary safety element ensures continued engine protection during filter change or accidental damage.
  • Dust Management: Depending on the model, dust is expelled via a discharge valve, collected in a reservoir, or continuously removed via an optional scavenging system. This compact two-stage architecture improves pressure stability and reduces maintenance.

JoktoPur

JoktoPur features an integrated multi-cyclone pre-cleaner (up to 95% efficiency) and an oval plastic housing with axial airflow design. It delivers high filtration performance in a compact format, ideal for construction and agricultural equipment where space is limited.
